55 MW Solar Power Through Rooftop Plants on 1000 Govt. Buildings Launched in Delhi

Delhi is set to roll out 55 MW of rooftop solar capacity across 1,000 government buildings, converting unused rooftop space into clean energy generation.
The rollout will be done in phases (surveys, retrofits, grid connections), and is targeted for completion by January next year.

Maharashtra launches SMART Solar scheme with extra subsidies

Maharashtra launched the SMART Solar Scheme, offering extra state subsidies for households using below 100 units/month, especially benefiting BPL and economically weaker consumers.
Under the scheme, 5 lakh consumers will be targeted, with state subsidy rates of 35% for BPL, 20% for EWS, and 30% each for SC/ST households.
